 I have lived in the Athens area most of my life.  I grew up in the Clarke County School System and attended UGA.  I graduated from Valdosta State University with a degree in Political Science.  For 15 years, I was a high school teacher teaching mostly twelfth grade American Government.  Then I made a drastic career change when I learned to drive an 18-wheeler and started a ‘Mom & Pop’ trucking company.  I enjoyed traveling the lower 48 states and seeing the country while we worked.  But with age, we grew tired of never being at home so I went back to school and got my real estate license.  I have been a Realtor® since 2000.  I am a member of the Athens Area, Georgia, and National Associations of Realtors®.  I am a life member of the Athens Area Association's Million Dollar Club.
Madison County has been my home since 1983.  I raised my two sons there and both of them graduated from Madison County High School – where I last taught.  I have extensive knowledge of Athens Georgia and the surrounding area.
I am well aware that buying or selling a home is an emotional as well as a financial experience.  I will work full time to get you the results you want. I respect the confidence you place in me and will work diligently to meet your needs.  I am committed to representing you in a personal but professional manner from the beginning to the end of your real estate transaction. I have experience in all aspects of real estate including land sales, commercial sales, and residential sales.  However, new construction sales have been the emphasis of my real estate career since 2003.  I have handled sales in Thomas Farm at Spring Valley in Winterville, Bryant Woods in Hull, and in Shadow Lake and Yancey Place in Arnoldsville.  I am excited to be in a new subdivision in Madison County called Covey Landing.  Check it out in "Our Communities".
