     I was born in Athens, GA and have lived here all my life.  I’ve had the good fortune to have traveled to every state in the Continental USA, but I love being a “native Athenian”.  I graduated from the Grady School of Journalism at UGA with an Advertising Degree with an emphasis on Marketing.  I put my degree to work right away as an account executive for the Athens Banner Herald & The Daily News newspapers.  I worked for the papers for 21 years.  My ad campaigns won over 50 First Place Awards for Creativity in Local, Regional, National and International campaigns in the 1980’s and 1990’s.  In 1987 I began buying Duplexes (on the side) and in the last 10 years I have personally bought and sold close to 200 properties.  In the year 2000 I formed my own company “Athens Duplex Rentals” to manage my properties and my clients. My knowledge of Advertising, Marketing and Investment Properties can save a potential buyer and seller thousands of dollars and many headaches. I can manage anything my client wants to buy. It’s the Service After the Sale that is hard to find. Anyone can sell you an investment property, but will they be there when the going gets tough?
